Boston · The Flagship

Five days in the room where the hard calls get made.

Two one-week sessions of our summer business program, each a single cohort, Monday to Friday in the heart of Boston. Students don't sit through lectures — they run cases, defend decisions under pressure, and finish the week presenting a real recommendation to a board of working executives.

01Monday

The Market

How industries actually work — why a handful of companies dominate for decades while others are toppled overnight. Students learn to read a competitive landscape: where the real advantage lies, and where the profit actually hides.

02Tuesday

Reading the Money

Every company tells its story in three financial statements. Students learn to read them on real, name-brand businesses — and discover how two companies you know can look nothing alike once you follow the numbers.

03Wednesday

What's It Worth?

The question behind every deal on Wall Street. Students learn how a company is really priced — and why the 'right' number is an argument you make, not a fact you look up.

04Thursday

The Deal

A real acquisition lands on the table. Working in teams as the advisors, students decide whether to do the deal — and what it's worth — building the recommendation they'll defend on Friday.

05Friday

The Board — Capstone Showcase

Students present their recommendation to a panel of working executives and take the questions a real board would ask. The moment the entire week is built to earn.

Boston · Questions

Questions parents ask.

Who is it for?

High school students aged 14 to 18 who are curious about business, finance or leadership, and ready to be pushed.

Does my child need any business background?

No. The week starts with how industries work and builds from there. If your child is comfortable with numbers, they're ready: the math never goes beyond basic algebra. What we teach is how to use numbers to tell a story and make a case.

What happens during the week?

Each day builds toward Friday:

  • Monday: The Market
  • Tuesday: Reading the Money
  • Wednesday: What's It Worth?
  • Thursday: The Deal. Teams decide whether a real acquisition should happen, and at what price.
  • Friday: The Board. Students present their recommendation to a panel of working executives and take their questions.
What does my student take home?

Their financial model, their board presentation, a video recording of the board meeting, and written feedback from faculty. For the most promising students, faculty also write a letter of recommendation.

When are the sessions?

Two one-week sessions in 2027: July 12–16 and July 26–30. Students attend one, Monday to Friday, 9 to 4.

Is it residential? Where is it held?

No, it's a commuter program: students attend during the day and go home each evening. It's held off the MBTA Red Line, so you can plan the commute now. We share the exact location with admitted families.

How much does it cost?

Tuition is $2,995 for the five-day program, and the $250 deposit due on admission counts toward it. Snacks are provided each day; students bring their own lunch.

How do we apply, and what's the deadline?

Apply on the Apply page. Admission is by application, and every application gets a personal reply, usually within two business days. The deadline is May 1, 2027. Once your student is admitted, a $250 non-refundable deposit holds their place and counts toward the $2,995 tuition.

Who teaches?

Every member of our faculty currently teaches at an Ivy League school and also works in industry: people who make these calls in business, not just study them. There's more on the Why The Boardroom page.

How does this help with college applications?

Students leave with something most applicants don't have: a real business case they worked through and defended in front of executives, with the model, the presentation and a recording to show for it. That gives them a concrete answer to “why business?” in essays and interviews. For the most promising students, faculty also write a letter of recommendation.

Can parents watch the final presentation?

Yes. Parents are invited to Friday's board session to watch their student present.

Do you run programs outside Boston?

Yes:
