How we handle your family’s information.
The Boardroom runs business programs for high school students. When you register interest or apply, you tell us about your student and your family. This notice explains what we collect, why, who handles it for us, and how to ask us to change or delete it.

What we collect
- When you register interest: your student’s name and grade, and a parent or guardian’s name and email.
- When you apply: the same details, plus your preferred session, your student’s school, their email if you give it, their math and athletics level, any college or company connections in your family, and anything else you choose to tell us.
- With either form: how you heard about us, and the link or ad that brought you to this site. Your browser keeps a note of that link and adds it to the form when you send it.
- When you email us: whatever you include in your message.
- When you visit this site: the technical details every browser sends, such as IP address and browser type. Our hosting provider uses them to deliver and protect the site. Its visitor statistics don’t use cookies. We also use Google Analytics and Google Ads, which do, to count visits and see which ads and links bring families to us. Neither receives what you type into our forms.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, review applications, offer places, keep you informed about the program you asked about, and see which links, ads and events bring families to us. The optional questions help us understand each student’s candidacy more holistically, and you can leave them blank. We don’t sell your information. Google Ads may show our ads to people who have visited this site, but what you tell us in our forms is never used for advertising.
Who handles it for us
A few companies run parts of our service. They handle your information only to provide that service to us:
- Cloudflare hosts this website.
- Resend delivers form submissions to our inbox and keeps a copy for a limited time.
- Google Workspace hosts our email.
- Google Analytics and Google Ads count visits to this site and measure our ads.
- Stripe processes tuition payments. We never see your full card number.
We share your information with anyone else only if the law requires it.
Students under 13
Our programs are for high school students, and we don’t knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child under 13 has sent us information, email us and we’ll delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries and applications for two years after the program they relate to, then delete them.
Your choices
Email welcome@entertheboardroom.org to ask what we hold about you or your student, to correct it, or to delete it. We’ll reply within 30 days.
Keeping it safe
Only our team and the companies above can see what you send us, and this site encrypts it in transit. No system is perfectly secure, so please don’t send payment card or medical details through our forms.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top.
